Our Vision

  

Our vision is to follow God’s leadership in providing laborers, facilities, and finances to minister to the spiritual needs of people, both at home and abroad.

Listed below are ways we can accomplish this vision:

EVANGELISM

We at First Baptist Church of Abbeville (FBCA) empowered by the Holy Spirit, are called to                                  minister to the needs of those within our church family, our community and countries throughout the world sharing the love of God and the plan of salvation.  

WORSHIP

To come together as a family of God to worship Him through music, reading and study of His  Holy Word, and praising Him with thankful hearts.

FELLOWSHIP

We are “Families reaching Families”.   Through times of fellowship during a church service or some church wide activity, we get to know each other and encourage each other.

MINISTRY

The ministry of FBCA reaches far beyond the doors of the church.  We have an amazing outreach plan through the various ministries within our church that touch the lives of our  members and families within our community.

DISCIPLESHIP

To love, encourage, and help people understand who God is and how to grow in knowledge and service to Him.

 STEWARDSHIP

To encourage people to be totally committed to Christ through giving of our money, time and talents which He has provided so abundantly.
